Viesturs Ruzans

Viesturs Ruzans's work experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Ubiquiti Networks since February 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Scandiweb from December 2014 to February 2019. At Scandiweb, they held positions as a Development Lead and Software Engineer, where they served as a team lead, developed in-house and external projects, and led in-house blockchain exploration and development. Viesturs also worked with various technologies such as Node.js, PHP, Solidity, and Vue.js, and managed infrastructure using AWS and Terraform. Additionally, they have experience in e-commerce store development and team leadership on Magento and Shopify platforms.

Viesturs Ruzans earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Latvijas Universitate, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications in various fields. In March 2016, they received the Magento Certified Developer PLUS certification from Magento Commerce. In November 2015, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster certification from Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, in September 2015, they acquired the Magento Certified Solution Specialist certification, also from Magento Commerce.
