Dora Nogami Gilgen has over 25 years of work experience in manufacturing engineering and project management. Dora began their career in 1996 at The Vendo Company as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they provided daily production line support and participated and led Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and other process improvement activities. In 2005, they moved to Betts Springs as a Manufacturing and Quality Engineer, where they were responsible for production line technical support and leading Lean Manufacturing and other process improvement activities. In 2011, they joined GRUNDFOS as a Manufacturing Engineering Project Manager, where they were responsible for project initiation, budgeting and scheduling, and team leadership. In 2019, they moved to LAKOS Filtration Solutions as a Senior Engineering Project Manager, where they provided process supervision and quality assurance to the production of complex custom filtration systems. Her responsibilities included review and oversight of cross functional activities such as customer specification documentation, order entry, customer drawing/specification approval, engineering design reviews, ECN process, scheduling, procurement, production, testing, trouble shooting, customer communications, agency approvals, certifications, packing, shipping, installation and final documentation package. In 2022, they will join Ubiquitous Energy as a Project Manager.

Dora Nogami Gilgen received a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from California State University, Fresno from 1991 to 1994.
