Simon Wood

Simon Wood has extensive experience in technology and leadership roles. Simon is currently serving as the Group CEO at Ubisecure, where they focus on enabling the true potential of digital business through the use of rich digital identities. Prior to this, Simon worked as a Technology Advisor at Base 10 Ventures, where they helped innovative companies in the identity management and cybersecurity technology space.

Simon previously served as the Chief Technology Officer at GlobalSign, where they were responsible for designing, implementing, and operating GlobalSign's identity solutions. Simon also worked as the Chief Technology Officer at QuantumWave Capital, a boutique investment banking firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions and investment management. At QuantumWave Capital, they were responsible for technology strategy and advisory to clients.

Simon has also held various technical leadership roles, including Technical Director at T@lecom Limited, CTO at Voiamo PLC, and Director at WoodSoft Ltd. Earlier in their career, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Artilium PLC, where they led the team in defining the next generation architecture and implementing restructuring for cost savings and efficiency increase.

Additionally, Simon has experience as the Chief Technology Officer at flyingSPARK Ltd, where they created a technology roadmap and worked on restructuring the company. Simon also worked as a Development Manager at Axxia Ltd, where they were responsible for managing the in-house development team. Overall, Simon Wood has a proven track record in technology leadership and has played instrumental roles in driving innovation and success in various organizations.

Simon Wood attended The Henley College from 1988 to 1990, during which they pursued A Levels. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Southampton from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree with a focus on Electronic Engineering.
