Tero Roininen

Tero Roininen is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software development and architecture. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Ubisecure since November 2017, Tero leads the Engineering team focused on software development, quality assurance, and identity and access management features. Prior to this role, Tero was an Expert IT Architect at Nordea, contributing to a digitalization program that revamped banking systems. Tero's experience includes significant positions such as Lead Platform Architect and Senior Software Engineer at Vaisala, where responsibilities included developing foundational software platforms. Earlier roles include Senior Software Developer at Tieto and various capacities at Digia Plc, where Tero managed technical teams and coordinated capacity development. Tero holds a Master of Science in Communications Engineering from LUT University, obtained in 2008.
