Fabian van Royen

Fabian Van Royen is an accomplished Operations Manager at UBQ Materials since December 2021, with previous experience as Production Manager at SABIC from September 2014 to December 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing the Chlorine plant. Fabian also contributed as Site Readiness Manager for the IMTYAZ program, focusing on the implementation of a Manufacturing Excellence Management System aimed at aligning manufacturing processes with SABIC's 2025 Strategy Objectives. Fabian began a career in engineering as part of the SABIC Engineering early Development program and gained additional experience through a master’s thesis at DuPont on raw materials for non-stick coatings and research on self-healing polymers during undergraduate studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Fabian holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering Technology from the University of Antwerp.
