Sandeep Kulkarni

Sandeep Kulkarni has worked in the plastics and packaging industry since 2000. Sandeep's work experience includes roles at International Paper as a Product Development Engineer, Neenah Paper as a Product Development Specialist, Georgia Pacific as a New Product Manager - Packaging, Holliston LLC as a R&D Chemist, PepsiCo as a Technical Manager, NC State University as an Adjunct Professor, The Packaging School as an Adjunct Professor, Ubuntoo as Vice President of Plastics and Packaging, and KoolEarth Solutions, Inc. as Founder and President. In 2021, they began working as a Technical Consultant for the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR).

Sandeep Kulkarni has a diverse educational background. Sandeep obtained a B.Tech in Textile Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi between 1981 and 1985. Sandeep then went on to obtain an M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Kentucky between 1985 and 1988. After that, they worked at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1988 to 1993. Finally, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Polymer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1993 to 1995. In addition, Sandeep obtained a Corporate Social Responsibility Practitioner certification from the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) in November 2016.
