Geeta Anand

Geeta Anand is the current Dean of the Graduate School of Journalism at UC Berkeley. Geeta has over two decades of experience in journalism, having worked as a senior writer, investigative reporter, foreign correspondent, and health reporter for The Wall Street Journal, as well as a city hall bureau chief, state house reporter, and GA reporter for the Boston Globe. Anand began their career as a reporter for the Rutland Herald, where they covered Rutland City Hall, Rutland courts and cops, and Windsor County.

They are on a team with Lisa Alvarez-Cohen - Vice Provost, Academic Planning , Ann Harrison - Dean, Haas School of Business, and Lisa García Bedolla - Vice Provost and Dean, Graduate Studies. Geeta Anand reports to Catherine Koshland, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost.
