Leah Guthrie is an Assistant Professor of Bioengineering at the University of California, Berkeley, starting in January 2024, and has been a PhD student at Albert Einstein College of Medicine since August 2013. Prior to the current appointment, Leah served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University from April 2019 to December 2023, and as a Research Specialist at Virginia Tech from July 2012 to 2013. Previous internship experiences include positions at Merck, where skills in analytical chemistry were developed, and a molecular biology-focused internship at Allozyne. Leah holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Swarthmore College.
