Nora Povejsil

Nora Povejsil is a graduate student instructor at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on the human contexts and ethics of data, while also teaching undergraduate courses related to the healthcare system. Prior experience includes a fellowship at the University of Washington eScience Institute, where Nora developed a framework for assessing community water reuse potential, and previous roles as a communications assistant, code coach, and photo editor. As co-president of the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance at Berkeley, Nora successfully led initiatives to promote feminist causes. Educational qualifications include a Master of Information and Data Science and dual Bachelor's degrees in Public Health and Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
