Prabal Dutta

Prabal Dutta is a Professor and Associate Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, since July 2016, and has held multiple advisory and leadership roles as a Co-Founder of Gridware, nLine, and CubeWorks, Inc. Additionally, Dutta served as Co-Founder and Director at Vizi Metering, Inc. until January 2023. Previous academic positions include Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan from January 2010 to December 2016 and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Stanford University in June 2011. Dutta completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2004 to 2009, after earning a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University between 1992 and 1997.
