Sumi Godfrey Wong

Sumi Godfrey Wong currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Destination College Advising Corps at the University of California, Berkeley, where responsibilities include overseeing the annual budget for multiple programs and securing funding through grant renewals. Previously, Sumi held roles as the Director of Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math & Science and Associate Director of Counseling for Pre-College TRIO Programs, focusing on policy development and staff supervision. Earlier experience includes serving as a College Adviser for the Educational Talent Search program, where Sumi supported disadvantaged students with the college application process.
