Teal Sexton

Teal Sexton is an accomplished executive and leader in higher education administration with a focus on shared services and business intelligence. Currently serving as Executive Director at the University of California, Berkeley since October 2014, Teal founded a shared services organization providing comprehensive administrative support across multiple colleges and research units. Teal's prior roles include interim director of business intelligence and finance systems, where transformative achievements in enterprise system implementations were made, and as a functional lead in business intelligence, delivering innovative solutions and earning awards for excellence. Teal's experience is complemented by a strong academic background, holding an MS in Information Technology, an MBA in Business Administration, and a BS in Pre-Medicine from notable universities. Previous experience at Humboldt State University includes senior budget analyst, university lecturer, and administrative support coordinator.
