Catherine Cook

Catherine Cook (Sylvester) is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in higher education and alumni relations. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Communications and Culture at the University of California, Davis since May 2018, Catherine has held various roles, including Donor Relations Communications Manager and Assistant Director of Membership within Development and Alumni Relations. Previously, Catherine worked as an Events Coordinator at Georgetown University and as a Communications Associate and Intern at the Results for Development Institute. Catherine's early career included positions as a Social Media Coordinator and Academic Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Catherine holds a Master’s Degree in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
