Jacob Jackson

Jacob Jackson serves as the Director of Research Partnerships at the California Education Lab at the University of California, Davis, starting in April 2024. Prior to this role, Jacob was a Research Fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California from 2014 to 2024 and a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Davis from 2012 to 2014. Jacob began a career in education as a Mathematics Teacher at Hickman High School and later at Natomas Middle School between 2004 and 2006. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education Policy from the University of California, Davis, and both a Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Bachelor of Science in Education (BSEd) from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
