Raquib Alam

Raquib Alam is a Machine Learning Researcher at the University of California, Davis, contributing to the Dr. Imani Soltani Research Lab in the Laboratory for AI, Robotics, and Automation. Previously, Raquib served as Project Manager at Aggie Sports Analytics, focusing on a data-driven application for predicting the NBA Draft order. Additional roles included Software Developer creating a Fantasy Chatbot application and Technical Associate at Google Developer Student Club, developing a malware detection program. As Marketing Director in the same club, Raquib increased social media engagement significantly. Raquib's experience also encompasses leadership at Coding4Kidz, where efforts expanded the organization nationally and internationally, and roles in sales and tutoring across various organizations. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at the University of California, Davis, Raquib has a solid foundation in data analytics and programming, supported by an educational background that includes dual enrollment in Mathematics at Palomar College.
