Nate Shinagawa Mha

Nate Shinagawa MHA, FACHE, currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of UCI Health, overseeing a significant clinical enterprise with substantial net revenue. Prior to this role, Shinagawa held multiple leadership positions at Banner Health, including inaugural Chief Operating Officer of the Banner Ocotillo Medical Center, Interim Chief Operating Officer for Banner Desert Medical Center, and Chief Operating Officer of Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center. Shinagawa's earlier experience includes Vice President of Hospital Operations at Guthrie, where responsibilities spanned over 20 hospitals, and various roles in public service, including County Legislator for Tompkins County, a Congressional nominee, and a legislative aide in the New York State Assembly. Education includes a Master of Health Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Asian American Studies, both from Cornell University.
