Aj Anderson

Aj Anderson is an accomplished professional in the fields of training and communication with extensive experience in higher education and admissions management. Currently serving as a Senior Trainer at UC San Diego since October 2025, Aj develops training initiatives that enhance employee skills and organizational success. Concurrently, Aj holds positions as Associate Faculty at MiraCosta College and Adjunct Professor at Santa Barbara City College, where the focus is on mentoring adult learners and dual enrollment high school students in communication disciplines. Prior experience at the Gemological Institute of America spanned a decade, culminating in the role of Senior Manager for Admissions & Recruitment, overseeing strategic initiatives and operational excellence. Aj earned a Master of Arts in Communication from Arizona State University and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from Azusa Pacific University, complemented by a State License in Cosmetology.
