Cindy J. Lin

Cindy J. Lin is an experienced professional focused on sustainability and social impact, currently serving as Teaching Faculty at UC San Diego and CEO & Co-Founder of Hey Social Good, a company utilizing machine learning to enhance sustainable practices among businesses. Lin has held leadership positions such as Chair & President of the San Diego Environmental Film Festival and Board Director at Business For Good San Diego. Cindy serves as a Sustainability Advisor for Informa Markets and previously was the Board President of San Diego Coastkeeper. With a long tenure at the US Environmental Protection Agency as Regional Coordinator, Lin has also contributed as a Water Advisor for the US Embassy in China. Educational achievements include a Doctorate in Environmental Science and Engineering and a Master’s in Environmental Chemistry, both from UCLA, in addition to foundational studies in Biology.
