Philip Su

Philip Su is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering, education, and entrepreneurship. Currently, Philip serves as the Founder and Engineer of Superphonic, a podcast player designed for dedicated listeners, while also holding a teaching faculty position at the University of Washington. Previous roles include leading the Seattle office of OpenAI, where Philip worked on significant projects such as the backend services for DALL-E images and the development of ChatGPT desktop apps. Philip also founded several ventures, including Audere, a global health nonprofit, and SparkAnvil, LLC, which developed consumer mobile applications. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Neurophysiology from the University of Maryland and a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University.
