Emily Yu

Emily Yu is an accomplished UX Design Lead at Triton Software Engineering, where collaboration focuses on creating pro-bono digital solutions for local non-profits. As the Director of Community for UCSD Design Co, Emily fosters a vibrant design community through events and workshops for over 300 students and oversees a mentorship program connecting 200 students in various fields. In addition to roles as a Community Engagement Coordinator and UI/UX Design Intern at UC San Diego and Qualcomm Institute, Emily has made significant contributions to redesigning educational systems, scaling climate change data models, and developing user-centered applications. Previous positions include roles at SquareTrade, Design for America, and Donut Life Museum, all showcasing Emily's expertise in design and commitment to community support. Emily is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science, with a focus on Design and Interaction, at UC San Diego.
