Hieu Phan

Hieu Phan is a UX/UI Intern at UC San Diego since October 2022, responsible for conceptualizing marketing strategies, building partnerships, and coordinating promotional activities for the Campus Performance & Events Office. In addition to this role, Hieu serves as a User Experience Designer for Triton Software Engineering, focusing on creating a mobile-responsive admin portal for Patriots and Paws, while also holding positions as Community Engagement Coordinator and Social Director in various UCSD organizations. Previous experience includes serving as a Product Design Intern for Refugee Health Alliance, Public Relations Chair for the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, and Content Strategist for the North County LGBTQ+ Resource Center. Hieu is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science with a focus on Design and Interaction at UC San Diego, expected to graduate in 2025.
