Karsten Zengler

Karsten Zengler is a distinguished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in research and teaching. Currently holding positions as Professor and Associate Professor at the University of California San Diego, Karsten has also served as a Research Scientist. In addition to academic roles, Karsten is a co-founder of Ascus Biosciences and General Automation Lab Technologies, Inc. Further contributions include an Adjunct Professorship at the University of Iceland and a Senior Scientist position at the Technical University of Denmark. Educational qualifications include studies at the Max-Planck Institute for Marine Microbiology/University Bremen from 1996 to 1999 and The University of Göttingen from 1992 to 1996.
