Ross Farley

Ross Farley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and administrative support across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Operations and Chief of Staff for the Division of Ethics & Compliance at UC San Diego since August 2014, Ross provides advisory support to the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer and plays a key role within the senior management team. Previously, Ross held significant roles at Heidrick & Struggles and Energy BBDO, where responsibilities included executive recruiting support, project management, and facilitating global client communications. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Operations & Compliance at the Boston VA Research Institute, where exceptional performance in compliance and operations was showcased. Ross began a career in veterinary medicine, transitioning from roles such as Veterinary Technician to anesthesia technician. Ross holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Religion from Boston University.
