Mark Morrison has been working in the medical and health field since 2004. In 2004, they began working as an Exercise Physiologist at Glasgow Life. In 2009, they became a Research Assistant/Teaching Fellow at the University of Houston, where they trained students on exercise testing and other activities. In 2012, they started as a Senior Exercise Physiologist at Houston Methodist, where they established the Human Performance Lab and set up referrals in the North West Houston area. In 2018, they founded Invigor8 Coaching, which provides sports performance coaching for endurance athletes. In 2022, they began working as an Exercise Physiologist at Rose Medical Center, where they work with phase 2 and 3 patients in cardiac rehab to improve patient health and outcomes after heart surgery. Mark also works in the cardiology department as part of a team doing nuclear stress tests, stress echos, Lexiscans and EKGs on patients referred by their doctor or cardiologist. In the same year, Mark also began working as the Head Exercise Physiologist Clinical Success Manager at Ucardia, where they manage the program with one of their contracts in Houston.

Mark Morrison obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Sports and Exercise from Edinburgh Napier University between 2000 and 2002. Mark then went on to receive their Master of Science (M.S.) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Houston between 2009 and 2012. In addition, Mark Morrison has obtained certifications from various institutions, including the Health Coach Institute (Life Coach and Health Coach in 2018), American Heart Association | American Stroke Association (ACLS in 2022), Athletics and Fitness Association of America - AFAA (G.E.A.R Indoor Cycling instructor in 2020 and Group Fitness Instructor (GEI) in 2020), and American Heart Association (BLS in 2012).
