Liz Conway has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Liz began their career as a Congressional Fellow in the U.S. Congress before becoming a Research Associate at George Washington University, where they worked with renowned social policy expert Sar Levitan. Liz then joined the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association as a Senior Policy Analyst, where they developed and managed policy positions for the national association.
Following this, Liz worked as an Independent Consultant at E.A. Conway Health Policy Consulting, providing policy analysis, project management, and market analysis services to clients in Detroit, Washington, and Chicago. Liz later moved on to the role of Director of Product Development and Implementation at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, leading a team responsible for key corporate projects.
Liz also has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, including roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, where they served as the Vice President and later Retired. In these positions, they led product management and performance improvement efforts, managed product teams, and oversaw the evaluation and implementation of new products and service expansions in commercial markets and government programs.
Throughout their career, Liz has demonstrated their expertise in healthcare policy, legislative affairs, and government programs. Liz retired in 2023 and now enjoys their retired life.
Liz Conway holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Urban Studies from Oberlin College. Liz also obtained a Master of Arts degree in Policy Analysis and Social Policy from the University of Minnesota -- Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs.
