Francis Dupont

Francis Dupont is a highly experienced professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Head of CMC & Technology at Handl Therapeutics since August 2020, while also leading the CMC Technology Solution Team at UCB since November 2020. Dupont previously held significant positions at Novasep Belgium, including Head of Technology and Senior Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed analytical development and the scale-up of biopharmaceutical processes. Earlier roles included Project Director at Henogen and a Post-doc researcher leading a Research Unit at Institut Jules Bordet, focusing on viral vector manufacturing and gene therapy. Dupont holds a Bachelor and Master in Molecular Biology from Université libre de Bruxelles and completed a PhD focused on cancer-targeted gene therapy.
