Karen Borrelli

Karen (KB) Borrelli is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in intellectual property and digital data privacy. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel and Head of Digital and Data Privacy at UCB, Borrelli has previously held significant positions including Chief IP Counsel and Associate General Counsel for the Pain Franchise at Avanos Medical, Vice President and Chief Patent Counsel at Newell Brands, and Senior Patent Attorney at CIBA Vision Corp./Novartis Pharmaceuticals. Borrelli began a legal career as an Associate and Summer Associate at K&L Gates and Dentons. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
