Oliver Stumpp

Oliver Stumpp, PhD, PMP, is an experienced professional in the medical device industry, currently serving as Associate Director and Medical Device Program Lead at UCB since April 2013, with a focus on external manufacturing and lifecycle management. Prior to UCB, Oliver worked at Altran in the Lifescience division as a Senior Consultant, providing project management services in the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors. Additional consulting roles include Quality Management Consultant at Biocartis, Consultant at Zimmer, and Project Manager at Merck Serono, where Oliver developed global regulatory strategies for medical device software products. Earlier experience includes a role as Research Group Leader at Nanoclosure / University of Bern, and as Biomedical Engineer R&D Project Manager at Reliant Technologies. Oliver holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Energy- and Chemical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin.
