Philippe Mantelet has a long and varied work experience. Philippe began their career in 1995 as a Packaging Maintenance Manager at Lesaffre. Philippe then worked at Johnson & Johnson, holding various positions such as Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Equipments Manager and Warehouses & Facility Management Director. In 2006, they joined UCB Pharma SA, where they served as Site Technical Operations Sr Director and HSE, Site Projects & Facility Management Sr Director. At UCB, Philippe Mantelet was responsible for numerous projects, including setting up project management methodology, managing CAPEX portfolios, and implementing ISO 14001 certification for waste management. Philippe also led initiatives to improve HSE culture and reduce operational costs. In 2012, they transitioned to UCB, where they held roles such as Belgium Sites Projects & Facility Management Sr Director and Head of Technical Center of Expertise & Global Engineering Sr Director. Since October 2019, Philippe Mantelet has been serving as the Head of Global Engineering & Facilities and Vice President at UCB.

Philippe Mantelet completed a Master's degree in Maintenance Management from Master Management de la Maintenance - ENSAM in 1993-1994. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer degree in Maintenance Management from Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers in 1990-1993.
