Veronique Gendarme has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Veronique started their career as an Actuary in General Insurance at Gan Belgium in 1994. Veronique then worked as an International Actuarial Assistant at Watson Wyatt from 1995 to 1997. Following this, they joined Mercer as an International Consultant in London, where they worked until 2003. At Mercer, they gained expertise in global benefits and consulted on employee benefits issues. In 2003, Veronique joined UCB as a Benefits Manager and later progressed to the role of Senior Director Corporate Benefits. In this role, they were responsible for designing and monitoring the Global Benefits Philosophy, supporting HR Business Partners and subsidiaries on employee benefits, and taking on additional responsibilities for long-term incentives and due diligence projects.

Veronique Gendarme holds a Diploma in International Employee Benefits from the Pensions Management Institute in London, which they completed in 2001. Veronique pursued Actuarial Sciences at the Université catholique de Louvain from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they obtained a Degree in Mathematical Sciences and Aggregation for secondary school from the Université de Namur, which they completed between 1986 and 1991.
