Vivek Gopala Nayak

Vivek Gopala Nayak is a Principal Scientist at UCB since November 2020, previously holding roles at Biocon from April 2008 to October 2020, where experience included positions as Associate Scientific Manager-1, Senior Scientist, and Scientist. Vivek is a subject matter expert in the development, validation, and transfer of bioanalytical ligand binding assay methods, and has a proven track record in the preparation and review of standard operating procedures and protocols. Responsibilities have encompassed leading teams in generating and qualifying critical reagents for bioanalytical activities related to various therapeutic areas, including cancer and autoimmune diseases, and optimizing purification techniques. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Bangalore University.
