Wenqiang Fan

Wenqiang Fan, PhD, is a Principal Scientist at UCB, where responsibilities include leading a portfolio project, proposing new targets, and initiating projects focused on target discovery, validation, and mechanism of action, particularly within neuroscience. Previous experience as a Senior Scientist at UCB involved leading early phase neuroscience drug discovery projects and establishing a gene therapy platform. Wenqiang also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania, conducting research on human iPSC culture and the development of forebrain and hippocampal organoids. Wenqiang Fan holds a PhD in Translational Biomedicine from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
