Allison Folkerts

Allison Folkerts, MPH, MLS, CIC, currently serves as the Director of Quality and Patient Safety at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth, a position held since February 2019. Prior to this role, Allison worked as an Infection Preventionist at AMITA Health Adventist Medical Center, La Grange, and Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Additional experience includes serving as the Regional Supervisor of Point of Care Testing, Quality, and Safety at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and as a Medical Technologist at Rush University Medical Center. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health in Health Management and Policy from Benedictine University and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology from Rush University and Purdue University.
