Aric Shay BS, RRT-NPS currently serves as the Respiratory Therapy Manager at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth since June 2023. Previously, Aric held managerial roles at Ascension as Respiratory/Neurodiagnostics Manager and Interim Manager of Respiratory from February 2022 to June 2023, and at AMITA Health as Interim Manager and Supervisor from November 2021 to June 2023. Experience includes working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Northwestern Medicine, where responsibilities involved ventilator management in Covid adult ICU and administering respiratory care. Aric's tenure at RUSH University Medical Center spanned over eleven years, culminating as Lead Therapist, where duties included managing staffing, mentoring, and leading policy implementation. Aric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care Therapy from Rush University, an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Kankakee Community College, and is pursuing an MBA at Northern Illinois University.
