Betsy Mullappallil

Betsy Mullappallil, RRT, has extensive experience in respiratory therapy, currently serving as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth since October 2022, specializing in adult critical care, pediatric care, and neonatal critical care. Prior roles include positions at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital and The University of Chicago Medicine, where Betsy administered various respiratory therapies and coordinated patient care. Additional past experience includes working at NorthShore University HealthSystem, Baylor Health Care System, and Lake Pointe Emergency Services, where responsibilities encompassed patient assessment, treatment implementation, mechanical ventilation, and patient education. Betsy holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from Texas A&M University-Commerce and an Associate of Applied Sciences in Respiratory Therapy from Collin College.
