Patricia Cabral is a Doctoral Student Researcher at UCLA School of Education and Information Studies, conducting independent dissertation research funded by the Human Development and Psychology Program. Prior experience includes a Doctoral Student Researcher role at the National Science Foundation from September 2020 to August 2023, and senior researcher positions at San Francisco State University and the University of California, Santa Cruz, both involving significant research in psychological science and identity development. Additional experience includes lead researcher at the National Institutes of Health, focusing on diversity in education and research, as well as various educational roles that demonstrate a commitment to teaching and community engagement. Patricia holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Human Development and Psychology from UCLA and a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Northridge.
