Allison Chambliss

Allison Chambliss is a Clinical Associate Professor and Director of Laboratory Stewardship at UCLA Health since November 2022. Previously, Allison held positions as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Clinical Pathology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California from September 2016 to October 2022, while also serving as the Director of Clinical Chemistry and Point of Care Testing at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services during the same period. Prior experience includes a Clinical Chemistry Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital from September 2014 to August 2016 and a PhD candidacy and research role at Johns Hopkins University from August 2009 to August 2014, complemented by an R&D internship at Novozymes in 2013 and an engineering internship at Northrop Grumman from June 2006 to August 2009. Education includes a PhD in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
