Chelsea Shover

Chelsea Shover, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor-in-Residence at the University of California, Los Angeles, since January 2021, after completing a postdoctoral research position at Stanford University. Shover has a background in epidemiology, with significant experience at various institutions, including the Los Angeles LGBT Center and UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, where duties included teaching and research assistance. Shover's doctoral research focused on HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis initiation and long-term use. Prior roles include staff epidemiologist at the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department and fellowship coordinator at UC Irvine School of Medicine. Shover holds a PhD in Epidemiology from UCLA and a B.A. in English from Harvard University.
