Yoram Cohen

Yoram Cohen is a prominent figure in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as the Chairperson, President, and Founder of Noria Water Technologies, Inc., which specializes in real-time monitoring solutions for membrane performance in desalination and water purification. At UCLA since 1981, Yoram holds the position of Distinguished Research Professor and is the Director of the Water Technology Research Center, with research focusing on various water treatment technologies, including membrane development and desalination processes. In addition to these roles, Yoram is involved with multiple initiatives and centers related to environmental risk, nanotechnology, and occupational health. Yoram Cohen is also a Fellow of AIChE and has established ventures such as Multimedia Envirosoft Corporation, and held visiting professorships at several prestigious institutions. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and multiple degrees from the University of Toronto.
