Amy Thomas is a Resident Physician at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals since June 2022, with extensive volunteer and leadership experience in health education and clinical settings. Involved with the Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut as a volunteer since February 2021, Amy also serves as the Global Health Student Coordinator at Yale School of Medicine's Office of Global Health Education since December 2020, and has been a Scientific Member of the Yale Institutional Review Board since January 2018. Previous roles include co-leader of Yale Global Health Students United for Regional and Global Education, and senior clinical team member at HAVEN Free Clinic. Educationally, Amy holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Yale School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Psychology from UC San Diego. Experience in clinical research at Samumed, LLC focused on oncology and regenerative medicine further complements Amy's comprehensive background.
