Mykell Cruz

Mykell Cruz, RDCS, has extensive experience as a pediatric and fetal echocardiographer, currently serving as a Dedicated Lab Echo Sonographer I at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland since March 2016. Previous positions include Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer at Seattle Children's and Pediatric Cardiac and Fetal Echo Sonographer at Sutter Health - Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Mykell also held roles as a Senior Cardiac Sonographer at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, Pediatric & Fetal Cardiac Sonographer at Stanford Children's Health, and Pediatric & Fetal Cardiac Sonographer at NorthWest Children's Heart Care. Early career experience includes serving as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer at Pediatric Cardiology Associates and Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital. Mykell began a diverse career in performance with The Walt Disney Company, before transitioning to healthcare. Education includes a degree in Cardiovascular Sciences with a focus on Cardiac Ultrasound from Central Florida Institute.
