Rudy Pacol

Rudy Pacol is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Patient Care Director for Pediatric Acute Care and Pediatric Support Services at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals since August 2021. Previously, Rudy worked as the Unit Director for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital from January 2012 to August 2021 and as a Registered Nurse CN 3 specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care at UCSF Children's Hospital from June 2005 to January 2012. Early in the career, Rudy held the role of Patient Care Assistant at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children and served in the US Navy as a Petty Officer Second Class - Firecontrol Technician. Rudy holds a Master of Science in Hospital Administration and Interprofessional Leadership from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
