Ari Kleiman

Ari Kleiman is an experienced health care professional and librarian with a strong background in patient support and information management. Currently serving as the Lead Health Care Navigator at UCSF Health since April 2010, Ari oversees a team dedicated to assisting patients and families through the UCSF COVID-19 hotline. Previously, Ari worked as a Clinical Research Librarian at the Fishbon Library within UCSF Medical Center, specializing in services for nurses and patients. Ari's earlier roles include Educational Technology Specialist at the University of California, Berkeley, Librarian at Theravance, and Assistant Librarian positions at Celera Genomics and Axys Pharmaceuticals. Educational credentials include a Master of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University and a background in Biology and Chemistry from San Francisco State University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language and Literature from the University of Delaware.
