Mitch DeShields is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and solution architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect at UCSF Medical Center since November 2017, Mitch specializes in Building Information Modeling (BIM) for the Business Applications Team and contributes to the enhancement of facility delivery processes and tools for the CMMS (IBM Maximo). Previously, Mitch founded and served as CTO of Bot Maker Technologies, designing an AI-powered chatbot platform for financial services. At MoneyGram International Innovation Center, Mitch held the role of Senior Director of Software Development, overseeing the “Full Service” kiosk OLTP platform and contributing to key enterprise projects. Mitch was also the CTO at Nexxo Financial Corporation, a startup focused on self-service kiosk technology for under-banked customers, which was acquired by MoneyGram in 2014. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and additional studies at the University of Colorado Boulder.
