Sarah Sanders has extensive experience in healthcare marketing and branding. Sarah began their career as an Associate Director of Marketing at the University of Rochester in 1998 and worked their way up to Senior Associate Director of Marketing at the University of Rochester Medical Center. In 2009, they joined the University of Maryland Medical Center as the Director of Physician Marketing, where they were responsible for developing referral relationships and establishing a data-driven and service-oriented infrastructure. In 2011, they joined the University of Pennsylvania Health System as an Associate Chief Marketing Officer, a position they held until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Nemours. Currently, they are the Chief Marketing and Brand Experience Officer at UCSF Health, a position they have held since October 2021.
Sarah Sanders obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Ithaca College, which they attended from 1989 to 1993. Sarah later pursued an MBA in Marketing from Rochester Institute of Technology, completing it from 1994 to 1996.
