Sanjay Nambeesan

Sanjay Nambeesan has extensive experience in various roles related to human resources and compliance. Sanjay is currently serving as the Vice President and Head of HR Governance, Ethics and Compliance at udaan.com. In this role, they are responsible for building governance, compliance, HR shared services, and employee relations for the Udaan group. Sanjay also handles HR policies, employee experience, ethics framework, and HR audits for 14 entities in the group.

Prior to their current role, Sanjay founded GreenTick HR Solutions, focusing on HR risk assessment and mitigation. Sanjay also served as the Director of Corporate Functions at Hi Cabs, where they built HR, finance, admin, and compliance functions from scratch. Additionally, they were the Director and Head of HR Operations at Ola, where they played a key role in restructuring HR operations and compliance functions.

Before their roles at Ola and Hi Cabs, Sanjay held leadership positions at Bharti AXA General Insurance and Flipkart.com, where they managed rewards, HR operations, compliance, and labor issues. Sanjay also has experience working at MetLife GOSC, Bharti Airtel Limited, American Express, and Aptech Computer Education.

Throughout their career, Sanjay has demonstrated expertise in HR governance, compliance, ethics, employee relations, recruitment, compensation and benefits, and labor law compliance.

Sanjay Nambeesan completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) with a specialization in Human Resources from SCDL in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Commerce (B. Com) from Srikrishna College between 1989 and 1992.
