Mert Uygur

Mert Uygur is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the defense and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Udemy since November 2022, Mert previously held a similar position at BITES from April 2020 to November 2022, where contributions included developing software for missile simulations using C++17 and Linux. Prior to this, Mert worked at AYESAŞ as a Software Engineer, focusing on control software for decoy launching systems in frigate warships, and began a career with internships at Karel Electronics and HAVELSAN. Mert holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University.
