Katie Garcia

Katie Garcia is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience in managing teams and enhancing operational efficiency. Currently serving as Partner and Head of Operations at UDHC since December 2021, Katie previously held the position of Operations Manager at MakerDAO, where responsibilities included overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and internal meetings for over 60 employees. Prior to MakerDAO, Katie worked as Executive Assistant and Office Manager at Pacific Ridge Builders, Inc., supporting office operations in a dynamic startup environment. Additionally, Katie has experience at Facebook as a Media Operations Team Lead, managing a team and cross-functional global support programs, as well as serving as a Design Program Specialist. Earlier career experience includes working as a Flight Controller and Team Lead at Virgin America, where responsibilities encompassed flight monitoring and team management. Katie holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Chico.
