Deborah Sewell has a strong background in broadcast operations and venue management for major sporting events. Deborah currently holds the role of Senior Broadcast Liaison Officer for the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023. Prior to this, Deborah worked for UEFA in various capacities, including Venue Operations Broadcast Manager for European Club Competitions and Venue Operations & Broadcast Manager for UEFA European Qualifiers, Nations League, and Friendlies. Deborah also served as the FIFA Broadcast Servicing Venue Manager for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and EURO 2020 Senior Broadcast Liaison Officer for the UEFA European Football Championship. Additionally, Deborah has experience with HBS, NEP Group, Inc., and the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation in different broadcast and venue management roles. Deborah also worked as a Creative Director for Trigon Productions, an event production company focused on creating platforms for conscious living and community building.

Deborah Sewell pursued their education at various institutions. From 1988 to 1990, they attended Charles Sturt University, where they focused on TV and Sound production. Later, in 1995 and 1996, they enrolled at the Australian Film Television and Radio School, completing a Bachelor's degree in film editing.
