Gael Clavadetscher

Gael Clavadetscher has a diverse work experience in the field of infrastructure, security, and information technology. Gael started their career as a Telecom Engineer at Ascom in September 2000 and worked there until August 2003. Following that, they joined LANexpert as a Senior Consultant in January 2005 and held that position until September 2013.

In September 2013, Gael Clavadetscher joined UEFA, where they held various roles in the information security domain. Initially, they served as an Information Security Lead until August 2016. After that, they were promoted to the position of Information Security Manager, a role they held until January 2023. Currently, Gael is working as a Senior Infrastructure & Security Manager at UEFA, a position they assumed in January 2023.

Gael Clavadetscher began their education in 1996 at EIVD, where they pursued a degree in Telecommunication and completed the program in 2000. In 2011, they joined the University of Geneva to pursue a Master's Degree in Information Security and successfully completed the program in 2012. Later, in 2014, Gael enrolled in the CISSP program to gain expertise in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. In 2017, Gael attended the University of Geneva again, this time to specialize in Data Protection, completing a program on becoming a Conseiller à la protection des données en entreprise / Data Protection Officer.
